Fomer Pop Idol contestant and synth lover Victoria Hesketh became the critics darling at the beginning of the year, appearing on a multitude of lists tipping her for success in 2009. She followed it up with a Top Ten album that was partly produced by Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and included a duet with fellow synth lover Phil Oakey (from The Human League). In Episode 8 she tries to convince Che that her rider is usually a lot more healthy (yeah, right) and comes out as a gadget geek. Bless.
